The rhythm of the edit has a large impact on the viewer’s perspective of the shape and energy of the movement and therefore a profound influence on choreography. Consequently, in order to clearly represent the essence of the choreography, rhythm plays significant role when editing. Rhythm has such an impact overall, that the editor can physically relate to the dancers by use of breath in the post production process.

I find myself most satisfied when I have created something. All artistic fields interest me, however, dance is what I find myself needing to experience day in and day out. I have a great movement vocabulary and I am always looking for ways to expand, develop, and feel something new. Screendance merges multiple art forms in a way that fulfills me as an artist. I can combine the art of photography, dance, design, choreography, film, performance, and editing into one craft. I want to create fulfilling work that has an edginess, a realness.
